Sofi Hjort är museipedagog och jobbar som intendent på Livrustkammaren i Stockholm. Hon har skrivit flera faktaböcker för barn, bland andra Asgård. Sagor ur den nordiska mytologin och Olympen. Sagor ur den grekiska mytologin. Tillsammans med Kim W Andersson har hono också gjort fyra böcker i lättläst-serienTidens hjältar med fokus på historia. Faktaboken Äckligt, knäppt och läskigt förr i tiden utkommer hösten 2023.

Karl Johnsson, född 1980, är serietecknare och illustratör. Hans första seriebok, Mara från Ulthar, nominerades till Urhunden när den släpptes 2009. Tillsammans med Sara Bergmark Elfgren har Karl gjort den episka fantasyserien Vei, som fått ett mycket gott mottagande. När han inte tecknar serier illustrerar han barnböcker, däribland science fiction-serien Imperiets arvingar.
